Wilmington, North Carolina
Priestley Management Company is proud to congratulate Tracy Mitchell on earning the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designation from Community Associations Institute (CAI).
The PCAM is the highest professional credential CAI awards to community managers. It reflects years of dedicated work, advanced study, and a proven commitment to serving homeowners and the boards who lead them. Tracy's achievement puts her among a select group of managers nationwide, and the entire Wilmington, NC division of Priestley Management Company couldn't be prouder to have her on the team. Tracy brings that expertise every day to the HOA communities our Wilmington office serves across the Cape Fear region.
What it takes to earn the PCAM
The PCAM isn't a weekend course. Candidates must build years of hands-on experience managing community associations and complete CAI's full Professional Management Development Program curriculum. That coursework covers everything from association finances and risk management to governance, facilities, and community leadership.
The final step is a rigorous case study. Candidates evaluate a real community association and its management company, then demonstrate their expertise through a comprehensive written analysis. It's a true test of judgment, not just knowledge, and Tracy passed it while continuing to serve the boards and homeowners who count on our Wilmington office.
What this means for Wilmington HOA communities
For the Wilmington-area boards and homeowners Tracy works with, the PCAM is more than letters after a name. It means their manager has been tested on the issues that matter most: sound budgeting and reserves, fair and consistent governance, vendor oversight, and clear communication with residents.
At Priestley Management Company', we believe well-run communities start with well-prepared managers. Tracy's commitment to professional growth reflects the standard we hold ourselves to in every coastal community we manage, and it's shared across PMC's offices in Greensboro and Winston-Salem. For HOA boards in Wilmington, NC, that means a management partner that invests in credentialed, professionally trained community managers.
Congratulations, Tracy
Please join us in congratulating Tracy on this well-earned milestone. If you see her at your next board meeting, be sure to offer your congratulations.
Tracy, thank you for your hard work and dedication. Y
